Vacuum Roller
The vacuum roller is used to dewater the paper web. The vacuum roller is composed of a roller body, a vacuum box, a paper blowing pipe, a water spraying pipe, an adjusting screw, and a pressure and vacuum indicator. The bearing is installed on the roll body and vacuum box. Center Roll
When the paper web passes through the press roller on the blanket, a large amount of water is pressed out. In the press section of modern paper machines, one or more (suction) rollers press on the central roller. The center roll is a solid roll made of granite/steel or steel with a protective layer. Vacuum Roller
The remaining moisture of the paper web evaporates in the dry part. The paper runs on a number of heated dryers, which are guided by an annular drying net (formerly called drying felt). The drying cylinder is heated by steam (the temperature depends on the paper type, paper thickness, paper making speed and the number of drying cylinders). The high temperature of the heating steam is transmitted to the bearing mating surface, and the bearing stress is increased accordingly.
The bearing load is calculated according to the roller weight, blanket tension and temporary water injection.
During the heating stage, the maximum temperature difference between the inner ring and the outer ring is about 50 ℃, and the radial clearance C4 of the self-aligning roller bearing increases. Due to the high working temperature, the inner ring of the bearing has undergone special heat treatment (constant temperature quenching), so the bearing size can remain stable below 200 ℃.
